NEW ABLETON LIVE (AUDIO EDITING) KEYBOARD STICKER ReviewI've used Ableton for a long time, so Ableton's shortcuts are the ones I use. I still use keymapping, but not to override functions like 1/4, 1/8, etc; I use the keys for triggering loops and controlling VSTs.What I've found most helpful, is the colors. When you reach over someone's shoulder in the studio, the colors make a big difference in being quick with an edit, which to me is important during spontaneous moments. Most people I've seen reaching over someone else's shoulders are just worse at typing and finding the keys they need. It's different than when the keys are right in front of you. So after a few days of using the stickerized keys, I find myself knowing the colors and shape more than the icons themselves.
But the colors and icons are useful, even if they don't cover all the possible shortcuts. If you like what you see in the pictures, I can say the sticker quality is very good. My laptop keys are bigger than a sticker, so I could feel the edges of the stickers when I first started using them. But I stopped noticing it after 5 minutes. And they are made of good durable material, not paper or paper-backed plastic, so the tops won't veneer off.
