Spyderco Story: The New Shape of Sharp ReviewI am fascinated by the book's descriptions of the design-rationale behind each of Spyderco's many knives.
Also, the book describes the management philosophy and practice at the Spyderco company. Fascinating insight into what makes Spyderco knives so good!
A nice feature of the book is that it can be read in bits and pieces. It has lots of glossy photos. It reminds me of reading National Geographic magazine. Parts are nice for casual browsing, other parts have in-depth description.

Civil War Sharps Carbines and Rifles ReviewThis book should be well-liked by collectors and historians interested in the Civil War Sharps. I especially appreciated the raw purchase and issue data provided in the book. I do have one complaint. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of ANY reference to the New Model 1865 carbines and rifles. Like pretty much every other Sharps book out there, this one seems to pretty much ignore it and treat any raw data as though it was for the New Model 1863. I would appreciate it if at least one author would fess up and admit (in their book) that model-specific data on the 1865 just isn't out there, if that is the reason they are ignoring it. If there is information out there, these authors should provide it in the book.Civil War Sharps Carbines and Rifles Overview
