One of my favorite books ever written was "Many Years From Now" which dissected every Beatles song ever written in the words of Paul McCartney. This book, written by Bernie "Got Milk?" Hogya and Ken Sharp, a great musician and writer in his own right, has a fascinating section where Eric tells you the thought process for each of his Raspberries and solo songs. I've probably read that section so many times, I could put music behind it and turn it into a hit of my own, it is so magically written!
This is a MUST read for not just fans of Eric Carmen, not just fans of Raspberries, but any and all music fans! On the rare chance you can find this sold out hard cover book anywhere, grab it! There was a limited run and fans simply treasure their autographed copies, but now that Kindle has made it available, there is no excuse for you not to purchase this!
