Each unit is deeply explained and the aim (the final examination) is always quite clear. It gives excellent ideas for extra teaching activities, for the most part very communicative and challenging for the students. Moreover it contains extra tests with mock parts from several paper, usually connected with the content studied in the previous units. I'm at Unit 13 at the moment but the book arrived after I started (when I was at unit 3, to be more precise) and I've definitely seen the difference. I can prepare myself and spot mistakes and difficulties in advance, so to organize more activities. This make lessons much more effective!
