Incredible Crosswords to Keep You Sharp (AARP) ReviewThese are just too darned relaxing for my taste. Clues such as "____ Angeles, California" (three letters), "Cat's foot" (three letters) abound. The other AARP "to keep you sharp" series, at least the one I tried first (Fantastic Crosswords to Keep You Sharp) gave me a run for my money and brain cells. If you're looking for a challenge, keep looking beyond the beautifully illustrated cover of this well-constructed book.
I plan to give it to the students I tutor, brothers entering sixth grade. For them, it will be the perfect challenge. The size of the text and squares will make it comfortable for them to read and write in, too.
